Las Piñas City CAReS the main program of Las Piñas City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (LPCADAC) and is a God-centered approach to healing, restoration, and reconciliation of relationships of the persons-in-recovery with God, family and community. It aims to restore dignity and self-worth of the persons-in-recovery in a comfortable, safe, and friendly environment.

The program is composed of motivational counseling, spiritual and moral intervention and social support which includes technical skills, livelihood trainings, educational, sports, arts and cultural programs. Thus, providing them a holistic approach to recovery.

Las Piñas City CARES is designed for a continuum of care from outreach, basic support and eliminate drug abuse for their community reintegration. This program recognizes no “wrong door” for entry into the system. It aims to deliver services in the community as close as possible to where drug users live and aims to minimize disruption of social links and employment. It is integrated into the existing health and social services using community resources, including their families.

This program provides a six (6) month structured Community-Based Rehabilitation and Reformation of persons-in-recovery in Las Piñas City with “Mild to Moderate Substance Use Disorder” as assessed by the City Health Office Doctors accredited by the Department of Health. In addition, the program includes in-depth counseling for the persons-in-recovery and their families administered by trained spiritual and moral intervention teams.
